Following last night's 2-1 win over Kelantan and several other results that
were in favour of UPB-MyTeam FC, the team now has 35 points from 17 matches
and thus have gained promotion to next seasons Super League.

Prior to the match Sabah and PKNS were in the hunt for the second promotion
spot after PDRM had assured themselves of promotion. However Sabah were
beaten 1-0 by Johor Pasir Gudang while PKNS lost 1-3 to Armed Forces.

Thus with three matches remaining MyTeam have 35 points and Sabah 25 points.
PKNS have two more matches and have 26 points, thus MyTeams lead is
unassailable.

The remaining fixtures are as follows;

June 12 v Johor PG - away at Larkin Stadium

June 19 v KM Naza - away at Alor Setar

July 31 v PDRM - home at Shah Alam

On behalf of the President, Khairy Jamaluddin and the Management Team, I
wish to extend our sincere appreciation for all the assistance you have
provided the team and club over the last year. It was a team effort and we
could not have done this without contributions from all of you.

Canaries blast four goals past MyTeam

Pressure is on: Kedah’s Mohd Khyril Muhymeen tries to get past Matej Bogdanovic of UPB-MyTeam during their FA Cup match Tuesday night.

High-riding Kedah put themselves in the driver's seat for the FA Cup semi-finals after whipping UPB-MyTeam FC 4-1 in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya here last night. Hasmawi Hassan was the hero for the Canaries with goals in the 11th, 41st and 59th minutes. Marlon Alex James contributed the other goal in the 37th minute. MyTeam, the Premier League side, gave little resistance and managed to score against the run of play through R. Arumugam in the 40th minute. They now face an uphill task in the return leg at the Darulaman Stadium on May 29. Kedah, who are through to the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals and on course for the Super League title, were simply too good for MyTeam.

Nelson Sam Martin was outstanding in midfield and the Chilean had a hand in all the four goals. Hasmawi opened the floodgates for Kedah after only 11 minutes, stabbing home a loose ball past goalkeeper Faizal Rashidi. Then, crowd favourite James netted his 26th goal of the season when he fired home from close range after Martin put him through in the 37th minute for a 2-0 lead. Arumugam then managed to reduce the deficit for MyTeam with a 40th minute goal. MyTeam's joy was short-lived as one minute later Hasmawi scored his second goal of the night when he glanced home Martin's cross for a 3-1 lead. Kedah continued to surge forward after the breather and Hasmawi completed his hat-trick in the 59th minute when he connected Martin's cross past Faizal. In another quarter-final first leg match at the Shah Alam Stadium, Selangor edged club side PKNS 2-1. Mohd Amri Yahyah scored both the Red Giants' goals in the 20th and 22nd minutes. Fareed Shah gave PKNS a lifeline by pulling back a goal in the 82nd minute.

Harris mampu bantu skuad Piala Asia: Hodak
